PALANTIR, AI WARFARE, AND THE FUTURE OF HUMANITY

Palantir’s name comes from the all-seeing stone in The Lord of the Rings — which allows universal surveillance and corrupts its users. Founded by Peter Thiel and Alex Karp, and backed by CIA-linked investment funds, its development was shaped by ties to Western intelligence agencies and Mossad following 9/11. This was the dawn of the so-called War on Terror, in the name of which the people of Afghanistan and Iraq were bombed into the Stone Age, generating millions of casualties and refugees.

Palantir’s AI transforms massive data into weapons of surveillance, repression, destruction and death. Palantir regards its tools as equal or superior to nuclear weapons, technology that is reshaping the balance of forces on Earth. These weapons are not controlled by governments or constrained by international treaties; they are developed and owned by a private corporation. No wonder that in recent interviews CEO Alex Karp appears to be suffering from a deranged megalomania.

Palantir’s intervention in Ukraine helped to replicate all the horrors of the trench warfare of World War One. Palantir proudly supports Israel’s genocide in Gaza. Its AI-assisted targeting generated massive numbers of strike targets for the IDF’s automated machinery of destruction and slaughter. In the last two months Palantir assisted the US military in targeting Iranian infrastructure and was almost certainly responsible for the killing of more than 150 schoolgirls in Minab in Northern Iran.

Palantir technologies dissolve the distinction between civilian, economic, intelligence and military warfare. Palantir is a machine designed to control and destroy humanity. This sinister company has its fingers in every pie: it secured Covid contracts without competitive tender, it was paid to jab 44 million people in the UK at warp speed with experimental “vaccines”, and it has taken control over NHS data platforms.

Palantir also provides the infrastructure for ICE — and its barbaric immigration policing and enforcement campaign in the United States under Trump. Palantir provides the tools for mass surveillance and population tracking for governments to use against us.

Palantir embeds itself in health systems to prepare the future terrain of biological, pharmacological, neural and genetic forms of surveillance. At a time when trust in government and state agencies is at an all-time low, Palantir provides these same entities with massively enhanced decision-making and predictive analytics, all the better to manipulate and control people.

However, the company’s libertarian CEO dreams of the eventual dissolution of the nation-state, and they provide the ecosystem for a future in which we may be ruled directly by corporations by means of universal surveillance, monitoring and control of workers and consumers.

Palantir must be stopped. All government contracts with the company must be rescinded. Its role in war crimes in Gaza, Iran and elsewhere must be investigated. Its threat to humanity must be exposed.

Who Killed the Schoolgirls in Minab?

Open Letter to Palantir

Who killed the schoolgirls in Minab?

At 07:15 GMT on Saturday 28 February 2026 — the first day of the war against Iran — the United States and Israel fired three missiles at “The Good Tree” elementary school for girls in Minab southern Iran, killing more than 168 children and staff and maiming another 95. Most of the victims were girls aged between 7 and 12.

Five days after this crime was committed, neither the United States nor Israel have explained why the school was targeted. Initially both denied any knowledge of the massacre and the Israeli propaganda machine circulated fake images claiming that the school was hit by an Iranian missile.

Yesterday, when Pete Hegseth the US Secretary for War was questioned about the US-Israeli massacre of schoolgirls, he replied:

“We, of course, never target civilian targets, but we’re taking a look and investigating that.”

While it is true that admissions to this school prioritize the children of members of Iran’s Revolutionary Guard Navy, the building itself has been a school for more than ten years, and its location is clearly visible to anyone using Google Maps. Under the rules of war drawn up in Geneva in 1949, the targeting of civilians and children constitutes a war crime. Of course Israel ignores such legal niceties, as is evidenced by the systematic targeting of schools, hospitals, journalists and humanitarian aid workers in its genocide against the people of Gaza.

Last Thursday, at this protest, we explained that an investigation by the Wall Street Journal implicates Palantir in abusing access to Anthropic’s Claude AI - to help Donald Trump to conduct a military assault on Venezuela and to kidnap its President Nicolás Maduro. The use of Claude’s AI for killing, autonomous targeting and weapons deployment is a clear breach of its terms of use.

When Anthropic’s CEO Dario Amodei protested against the deployment of Claude AI in these acts of terror, murder, and kidnapping, Pete Hegseth, the US Secretary of War, declared Anthropic to be a “supply-chain risk”, equating them to foreign adversaries. Hegseth said that the Department of War’s AI “will work for us,” adding, “We’re building war-ready weapons and systems.”

In response, Anthropic released a statement on 27 February saying:

“First, we do not believe that today’s frontier AI models are reliable enough to be used in fully autonomous weapons. Allowing current models to be used in this way would endanger America’s warfighters and civilians. Second, we believe that mass domestic surveillance of Americans constitutes a violation of fundamental rights.”

This laudable refusal by Anthropic to cross their red lines was immediately undermined by Sam Altman from OpenAI/ChatGPT, who has now offered to place his company at the disposal of the US-Israeli AI war machine and its surveillance state.

Palantir’s CEO Alex Karp proudly trumpets the company’s supposed loyalty to “Western democratic values” whenever he makes one of his deranged public performances - which would be hilarious at a Soho comedy club - but are ominous and threatening for the future of all mankind.

Palantir provides the operational intelligence backbone of the targeting process in Iran and continues to deploy Claude AI for the war of aggression conducted by Israel and the United States.

US Central Command used Palantir’s Maven Smart System, in which Claude is embedded, for target identification on the morning of the school massacre.

Palantir’s system processes data from satellites, surveillance platforms and intelligence networks to draw up target lists and to prioritise targets, and it provides the exact coordinates. Such reliance on AI automates the machinery of war and increases the likelihood of catastrophic errors.

However, Palantir’s systems also evaluate strikes after they have been initiated. Therefore, it is completely implausible to imagine that Palantir cannot identify how, why and who carried out the missile strikes on the Minab school? If Palantir has nothing to hide, why don’t they immediately release everything they know about the decision-making process that led to the targeting of this elementary school on Saturday?

The use of Palantir’s AI systems for illegal wars and state terrorism reveals why Palantir’s promise to protect civil liberties in its predictive policing and NHS contracts must be regarded as a sham.

Do we as citizens not have the right to demand that UK government contracts with Palantir be immediately rescinded?

Do we as citizens not have the right to demand a halt to the rise of the totalitarian technological surveillance state, which Palantir is at the centre of creating?

Surely, unless Palantir proves it played no role in the Minab school massacre, the British government, the Metropolitan Police and the British intelligence community should regard this building — the UK headquarters of Palantir — as a potential crime scene?

People of the world, we are concerned citizens who have come together at Speakers’ Corner- the oldest centre of free speech in the world, and decided that the battle for democracy, free speech and humanity is now being fought out over the future of artificial intelligence.

Palantir moved its headquarters from Denver, Colorado to Florida on 17 February after repeated protests at its offices. We do not want to drive Palantir from Soho Square. Instead we want to exploit Palantir’s presence here to initiate debate and discussion, and to expose to the world both the potential and existential dangers posed by AI in general, and by Palantir in particular.

We invite everyone to join us in Soho Square the historic centre of London’s music, film and cultural life — to transform it into a global centre of debate about AI and the future of humanity.

Statement on Maduro and Venezuela

Each week at our gatherings outside the HQ of Palantir, we will highlight different aspects of what we believe are the immoral, repulsive, and criminal actions and intentions of Palantir, its corporate leadership, and its staff.

This week, Palantir initiated a lawsuit against the Swiss publication Republik because of an article about Palantir’s attempts to sell its AI software to Swiss authorities over the last seven years. The article cites an internal report from the Swiss Armed Forces that claims Palantir represents a threat to their reputation and to national security because of the company’s intimate connection to the United States. Palantir is suing Republik to demand a right of reply.

We are here every week to discuss the national and international role of Palantir and to open a public debate on the role of AI today and in the future. So we are inviting any and all Palantir staff and its leadership the opportunity to join this debate and to respond to claims that have been made about the company.

Today I will address the alleged role of Palantir in the invasion, killings, and kidnapping of Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro on 6 January 2026.

According to The Wall Street Journal, Anthropic made a deal with Palantir that enabled it to secure a $200 million contract with the US Department of Defense. Anthropic stated that its AI, Claude, must never be used to support violence, design weapons, or conduct surveillance. However, The Wall Street Journal reports that Claude was used to facilitate the invasion of Venezuela and the kidnapping of President Nicolás Maduro, and attributes this criminal use to Palantir. While we do not accept Anthropic’s claim to humanitarianism, these crimes are directly attributed to Palantir.

While Anthropic’s terms of service state that its AI cannot be used for anything related to domestic surveillance or in developing autonomous weapons, Palantir recognises no such restrictions. When staff at Anthropic questioned Palantir about their criminal misuse of Claude to assist the US attack on Venezuela, the US Secretary of Defence, Pete Hegseth, sprang into action, proclaiming that the Department of War’s AI “will work for us,” adding, “We’re building war-ready weapons and systems.”

The Wall Street Journal claims Palantir played a key role in the terrorist attack on Venezuela. The seizure of President Maduro was carried out citing the preposterous excuse of enforcing a US arrest warrant. Of course, the US has no right to seize an alleged criminal in another country. This would require an extradition request.

Donald Trump admitted that he simply wanted to seize control of Venezuela’s oil and control every country in the backyard of the United States. Immediately following this, the Trump administration claimed it had “the right” to seize Greenland and overthrow the governments of Mexico, Colombia, and Cuba. Now its military is preparing a new war of aggression against Iran.

The seizure of Maduro matches the dictionary definition of the supreme crime under international law known as the Crime of Aggression.

This is defined as:

“the planning, preparation, initiation or execution, by a person in a position effectively to exercise control over the political or military action of a state, of an act of aggression…

Such an act of aggression includes:
• invasion or military occupation,
• bombardment,
• seizure of territory,
• overthrow or control of a government.”

Palantir should be investigated for its role in aiding and abetting this Crime of Aggression, for its role in the illegal invasion, in the extrajudicial killings of Maduro’s guards, and in the kidnapping of a head of state. These are acts that constitute Crimes Against Humanity or War Crimes under international criminal law.

If any individuals or teams at Palantir’s UK HQ were involved in the planning and execution of the capture of President Maduro, we believe that UK police should investigate their role in the following crimes under UK law:

Kidnapping, conspiracy to kidnap, assisting or encouraging kidnapping

Murder, conspiracy to murder, and aiding and abetting murder

Terrorism — providing assistance for terrorist purposes, encouragement of terrorism, preparation of terrorist acts

Of course, we invite Louis Mosley, Alex Karp, and Peter Thiel or any of its staff to exercise their right of reply to this statement.

UK Parliament Petition

Petition to Parliament

Hold a public inquiry into the use of defence-linked AI in the UK public sector

Created by Heiko Khoo
Closes on 24 October 2026

We feel public concern is rising about AI companies deploying automated targeting in military, intelligence and policing. We believe their contracts and influence have been secured without adequate public scrutiny or democratic control. A public inquiry could investigate and address these concerns.

We believe there is growing concern about the role of private defence-linked AI companies in UK public services, including the NHS, where sensitive data is used. These systems are also deployed in military operations abroad, which we feel raises questions about accountability, civilian harm and risks to civil liberties.

The public should have confidence that such systems are transparent, lawful and accountable, and not exposing citizens to misuse of data or technologies developed for surveillance and warfare.
